Description from the University Institute of Technology (IUT) Objectives
The Undergraduate Degree aims at training technical associates who are specialised in the treatment of pollutions and waste consequent to industrial processes.
Graduates are able to analyse pollutant release and process waste, to design retreatment or storage processes and to implement them, accordingly to energy conservation requirements, quality and environment regulations. table of contents
Admission
The Undergraduate Degree is accessible to:
- graduates from a two-year higher education Degree, University Technological Degree, advanced vocational diploma (BTS), Undergraduate Degree (first four semesters validated) in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering and Materials.
- people who obtained an equivalence in one of the above-mentioned domains on validation of knowledge acquired by experience.
- As part of the continuing training, level III employees who work in the relevant sector and whish to reinforce their skills so as to reach the level II.

Occupational integration in companies, which plan to reduce their energy consumption, to process waste as well as to reduce pollutant flows consequent to industrial production, or in control and prevention certified organisations.table of contents
Organisation of studies
The professional Undergraduate Degree is organised on a single year, split into two semesters, each worth 30 ECTS credits, the full professional Undergraduate Degree is worth 60 credits. The student attends an average of 25 hours of class per week and carries out a 12 to 16 week internship.Content: 6 Teaching Units (UE) table of contents
