Its role is to promote a coherent regional strategy for basic research and for academic training in the field of Health. Strongly supporting the emergence of new federative and transdisciplinary projects, SFR Cap Santé is committed to consolidating scientific excellence and international influence through thematic areas:

Missions

SFR Cap Santé considers itself to be a project hotel whose missions are to:

- Promote the emergence of new federative projects: these projects, selected through a call for projects, make it possible to launch "proof of concept" projects and projects at the interfaces of the main laboratory themes.

- Promote and support large-scale federative research projects: these innovative projects can be regional (CPER, ..), national (ANR, ..), cross-border (INTEREG, ..) or international.

- Facilitate a space for scientific exchange of excellence

Axis meetings: These meetings aim to orient and animate the axes of the SFR.

Scientific seminars: Strengths of the scientific animation of the SFR. They are organized at least monthly by a seminar committee which defines the annual program.

Reims Day of Young Health Researchers: This day allows young researchers to participate in a presentation of their work in front of a large scientific audience, clinicians and industry.

Thematic scientific days: These days make it possible to facilitate meetings between the actors of this theme, to structure the network on the territory and to bring about the emergence of future large-scale collaborative projects.

- Accentuate links with EDs and master's courses: Organize thematic schools and exchange time between students, facilitate contacts between students and SFR laboratories.

- Support the organization of national and international scientific meetings in the field of Health

- Facilitate the implementation of resources in order to increase inter-laboratory collaborations; to pool these resources more effectively and in particular state-of-the-art equipment; and to initiate common approaches during investments and major calls for projects.
