Regional Calculation Centre in Champagne-Ardenne ROMEO
With the ROMEO project, launched in 2002, the URCA (University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne) developed local skills in high-performance computing in applied maths, physics, biophysics and chemistry.
Supported by the Champagne-Ardenne region, the URCA decided to widen the scope of this action by implementing the regional-sized project ROMEO II.

Meserp: Flexible workshop
The training and research platform Cellflex, called Reims flexible workshop falls within the scope of the regional technical capacity MESERP.
Cellflex puts forward the skills poles from the Champagne-Ardenne region, and particularly the URCA’s.
Thanks not only to industrial, regional, local and government industrial financing plans to the benefit of the URCA but also to Bernard RIERA and François GELLOT's enthusiasm (initiators of the project), the project could grow and develop within the campus Moulin de la Housse.
Today a reality, this platform enables to visualise and illustrate flows of companies, demand and product delivery.
