Centre Interdisciplinaire de Recherches sur les Langues Et la Pensée (CIRLEP), i.e. Interdisciplinary Research Centre on Languages and Thought. CIRLEP is one of the research groups of the Arts and Humanities Faculty of Reims University. It affiliates 40 full-time researchers and is host to another 15 associate researchers in a number of domains: English, German and Spanish literature, cultural studies and linguistics, general linguistics, French as a foreign language, philosophy and educational studies. It has defined three main research topics (Languages and Thought, Intercomprehension / Didactics of Plurilingualism, Representation of society), comprising six interdisciplinary seminaries. CIRLEP organizes regularly international conferences and symposia.
