400 students from the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne mobilised for the climate

URCA has joined the Rentrée du climat scheme, which consists of organising Climate Fresk workshops, in order to provide students with shared scientific knowledge on climate issues.

On Friday 6 May, more than 400 students mainly from the 3rd year of URCA Economic, Social and Management Sciences faculty degree courses mobilised to participate in the Rentrée Climat.

Aware of its responsibility towards its students and more broadly society, the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne works to develop their understanding of the world and their critical thinking through scientific, collaborative and creative workshops designed to raise awareness about climate change.

Participating in the Rentrée Climat means committing to supporting students in a new forum for reflection that can equip them to think about the transition and transformation of our societal models.

The Rentrée climat programme is supported by the Climate Fresk association, which coordinates the event.

Since September 2020, 65,000 students have already taken part in the collective workshop from all fields (faculties, engineering schools, business schools, etc.) with a target of 100,000 over the academic year and 2,000 people have been trained on running the Climate Fresk workshops in institutions.
