A BIOCEB Erasmus Mundus master's degree student honoured with the title of Order of the White Rose

The University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne is proud to announce that one of its students, Willow Dew, a Canadian BIOCEB* Erasmus Mundus master’s degree student has been awarded the Order of the White Rose, a grant created by the Canadian Polytechnique Montréal engineering university, in homage to the victims of femicide, as well as those who were injured, families, teachers, employees and students who were caught up in the tragedy of 6 December 1989 which cost the lives of 14 young women (https://www.polymtl.ca/ordreroseblanche/).

This grant, of $30,000, is awarded each year to a Canadian student who chooses to pursue their studies in engineering at post-graduate level (master's or doctorate) in the institution of their choice, in Canada or elsewhere in the world. It also aims to promote female role models in engineering and science.

Willow Dew studies in the field of biological and chemical engineering for a sustainable bioeconomy (Bioceb, a joint programme between URCA, AgroParistech, the University of Liège, the University of Technology of Tallinn (Estonia) and the University of Aalto (Finland).
