The University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne expresses its emotion and solidarity with the Lebanese community affected by the terrible tragedy which occurred in Beirut.

URCA reaffirms its willingness to pursue and strengthen the agreements that connect it with its institutional partners in Lebanon, as well as its support for all the colleagues and friends who bring these agreements to life.

In view of its long tradition of cooperation in training and research with Lebanese universities, and in the spirit of national solidarity, the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne is implementing a range of measures, namely:

• Extension of the registration period for Lebanese students who wish to come to our university for a semester or a year as part of an academic exchange,
• Urgently direct and facilitate the process for applications sent for our training courses,
• Establishment of an individualised welcome and assistance with administrative procedures to help students settle in quickly in Reims and at the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne.
