On 2 April 2019 Guillaumé Gellé, President of the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne, and Philippe Harant, Director of the Marne Tourism Development Agency, signed a partnership agreement with Œnotourisme Lab.

Œnotourisme Lab is an organisation which supports tourism innovation, bringing together a local network of players involved in assisting companies (being created or which exist) to define and develop new wine tourism projects. This partnership allows the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne through the Georges Chappaz Institute, to access a network with exchanges, information sharing, resources and professional meetings but also opportunities and potential in the wine tourism sector. In its aim to consolidate initiatives and contribute to the development of wine tourism activities in Champagne, the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne - Georges Chappaz Institute has found the perfect partner by teaming up with Œnotourisme Lab, and in particular offering recognised courses, such as the new Wine Tourism Management University Diploma which will start in October 2019.
