Successful TR4HP Symposium #2

The International Institute for Bioeconomy and Environment EXEBIO, the Coordination of the Doctoral Schools, the ABIES Doctoral School as well as the Direction of External Relations and International Development of the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne were pleased to organize the second edition of the Symposium “Transdisciplinary research for a healthy planet” on February 15th and 16th, 2024, in Reims, on the Croix Rouge Campus.

The Symposium, introduced by Professor Christophe Clément, 1st Vice-President of URCA, brought together, during these two days dedicated to climate change, nearly 250 participants, students, researchers, entrepreneurs and representatives of the economic world.

The opening conference led by Dr Valérie Masson-Delmotte, Research Director at the CEA, University of Paris-Saclay, was followed by a round table for doctoral students entitled “How to spice up your PhD with an international flavor?” », by a poster session and 3 scientific sessions “Climate change sentinels”, Preserving Ecosystems” and “Resources and Sufficiency” during which renowned speakers shared their expertise and insights to respond to these major societal challenges.
