A new PHC project accepted at URCA

The Institute of Engineering Sciences is developing new collaborations with Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands by obtaining funding as part of the Franco-Dutch PHC Van Gogh 2019 programme.

The project which is funded for two years is called "HAPEE: HEMPCRETE AND PHASE CHANGE MATERIALS FOR ENERGY EFFICIENCY IN HOMES IN EUROPE" will focus on improving the energy efficiency of hemp concrete by combining it with phase change materials.

This cooperation is based on the complementarity of knowledge and equipment between French and Dutch teams and will lay the foundations for future collaboration between the two teams and envisage co-supervision of a thesis on the energy performance of buildings.
