The Centre International d’Etudes Françaises (CIEF) is an internal structure of the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne.
Stimulated by a dynamic and available team of appointed teachers and part-time lecturers, the CIEF welcomes more than 300 students from all nationalities and levels each year.
The CIEF also takes care of the ERASMUS students’ integration week which is organised by the Office of International Affairs and takes place at the beginning of the academic year.
As an examination centre for the DELF (Diplôme d’Etudes En Langue Française), DALF (Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française), the CIEF offers a wide range of courses from basic French learning to upgrading courses, allowing each student to progress at his/her own pace.
A didactical training course of French as a Foreign Language (FLE) is also suggested to the trainers who wish to deepen their knowledge.
You can study during Winter semester or Spring semester
6 levels : from basic French learning to upgrading courses (15 hours a week)
Preparation for the Certificat Pratique de Langue Française, the Diplôme d’Etudes Françaises and the Diplôme Avancé d’Etudes Françaises.
Preparation and examination centre for the DELF, the DALF and the University entrance language test.
Semestrial registration fee : 900 euro
You’ll find in Reims different kinds of student housing as well as youth hostel.
The CIEF students can purchase their meals at the university restaurants and cafeterias at reasonable prices.
Leisure activities :
Several free excursions and sightseeing trips are offered to the newly arrived students: champagne cellars, museums, Reims cathedral, etc.
Students can practice numerous physical, sporting and cultural activities within the university.
