The " ESATs* of TOMORROW " research project came out of the desire to move forwards of the professionals involved in the management and support of ESATs (ESAT l’ENVOL in Mantes La Ville; ESAT LES ANTES in Meix Tiercelin in the Marne and CARRIE Conseils et Formation) and an intention to research led jointly by these professionals and Monique COMBES-JORET, a researcher at URCA's SSE (social and solidarity-based economy) Chair, member of the economics and management research laboratory REGARDS (EA 6292).

This desire was made reality by the signing of a first research collaboration agreement (an ethical framework negotiated and accepted by all) for 3 years (2017-2020) and its extension for 3 years (2020-2023).
A first research report covering the period of the first 3 years will be available soon.

(*) ESATs (Establishments aimed at helping disabled individuals back into work) are medico-social structures that have a dual mission of protecting adults with disabilities and helping them back into work when they cannot work in an "ordinary" environment.
