A new Interreg France-Wallonia-Vlaanderen project: PSICOCAP

The launch of the Interreg France-Wallonia-Vlaanderen PSICOCAP project, which stands for "Integrated and Comparative Practices and Statistics on Disability and Mental Disability", took place on 31 January 2020. PSICOCAP is a bipartite (French-Walloon) cross-border project coordinated by the Walloon Institute for Evaluation, Prospective and Statistics (IWEPS) which aims to introduce epidemiological results on both sides of the French-Belgian border, improving knowledge on disability and more particularly mental disability (extent, care).

The Cognition Santé Société laboratory, led by Professor Stéphanie CAILLIES at the URCA, a partner in this project, will notably be responsible for organising training courses and a summer university on mental disability and mental health planned in work module 5. This research project, whose overall budget is €946,000 (50% FEDER), will be managed for the C2S Laboratory by Fabien GIERSKI, lecturer and postdoctoral accreditation to supervise research.
