A graduate of Sciences Po Paris and INALCO, Christine Bouteiller has distinguished herself in the field of academic and scientific cooperation.

After working at the French Embassy in Algeria and then at the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne (URCA) as Head of International Cooperation, she embarked on a distinguished career in Kazakhstan, where she led the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute and the Geo-Energies Centre. She initiated ambitious projects, including the establishment of dual degree programs and the development of exchange programs allowing Kazakh students to study in France. Her expertise in negotiations and project management led to strategic partnerships recognized by the Kazakh government, as well as the organization of conferences bringing together influential figures from both institutional and industrial sectors.

Passionate and committed, she also served on the Board of Directors of the Franco-Kazakh Chamber of Commerce, actively contributing to strengthening ties between the economic world and the academic community. She was awarded the Kazakhstani National Medal "Birlik" by the Kazakh government for her contribution to strengthening the country's stability and unity.

Christine Bouteiller has been appointed, effective October 22, 2024, as Vice-President for International Relations (IR), with the following responsibilities:

  • Defining the international strategy,
  • Developing international partnerships,
  • Promoting international mobility and the university's global influence,
  • Encouraging the internationalization of administrative services and educational programs.

Her exceptional career embodies an ambitious and dynamic vision for internationalization.
