Reception of international students when they arrive at urca (degree seeking students)

You are foreign and your application to be admitted on to one of the courses on offer at the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne has been accepted. You now have to do several things to be able to come and study at our university.

For several years, the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne has had a One Stop Shop to help you with these steps.

From the beginning of the 2019 academic year, non-European students who are enrolling for the first time on a higher education programme at a university in France will have to pay annual tuition fees: €2,770 for a degree and €3,770 for a master's degree.
URCA has set up an exemption scheme enabling you to pay the same tuition fees as European students.

WHEN?

The Guichet Unique (one stop shop) will be open from 24 August to 22 September 2023, from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 12:00am and 01:30 and 04:30pm.

Students arriving between 23 September and 15 October 2023 will be subject to a late application.

WHERE?

URCA international students arriving in France for the first time will be welcomed at Guichet Unique (one-stop shop) - Espace Reims Campus, 31 Rue du Général Sarrail in Reims.

WHAT DOES THE ONE STOP SHOP DO?

At the one stop shop, international students arriving for the first time in Champagne-Ardenne will be able to get help with their administrative procedures, and in particular those relating to:

the Student Life and Campus Contribution (CVEC),
social security and top-up health insurance,
public transport in the Reims conurbation,
CROUS accommodation (university halls of residence or not), university canteens and CROUS cafeterias, CVEC),
associations, some of which will be available to you to give you information about their activities and in particular those put in place for international students.

STEP 1

Paying the Student Life and Campus Contribution (CVEC) to CROUS is a mandatory step before you enrol at the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne. Confirmation of payment of the CVEC will be requested when you visit the One Stop Shop.

As of 2 May, 2019, you can do this:

By paying online by credit card by clicking on the following link: get my CVEC code;
By cash payment at the counter of a French post office: after declaring online that you want to pay in cash, you must go to a post office with your nominal payment advice to be able to pay the CVEC. You will then receive an e-mail within 2 days inviting you to download your conformation that you have paid the CVEC.

STEP 2

At the Guichet Unique, the administrative registration procedures will be explained to you on the spot.

Make sure you have your registration authorisation with you:

For DAP applications: the registration authorisation (form D) is sent to you by the URCA Teaching and Schooling Department;
For Etudes en France applications: the pre-registration agreement can be downloaded from the Etudes en France website.
