Support for disabled users

A team of librarians is at the disposal of users with disabilities or temporarily prevented. Please let them know by email. In each library, a computer station is dedicated to people with disabilities.

You can :

  • Loan conditions :

    Students : unlimited loans for 3 weeks.
    Staff and PhD students : unlimited loans for 9 weeks
    Loan items can be renewed 2 times for a 3 weeks period. Some materials have more restrictive loan conditions. The documents borrowed in Reims can be returned to all university libraries in Reims.

  • Search the electronic resources on a computer in the library.
  • Use you own laptop and connect to the wifi network in the library.
  • Library staff can provide demonstrations on the use of electronic resources and library catalogue.
  • Work in a reading room or in a group study room (available in Robert de Sorbon, Health and Moulin de la Housse libraries).

  • In Robert de Sorbon library, you will find a silent room (20 study places)
  • Read documents using video-magnifiers (Robert de Sorbon, Health and Moulin de la Housse Libraries).
  • Print and photocopy (except Chaumont et Troyes-Éducation Libraries)
  • Scan for free documents on a usb device, from a photocopier (except Chaumont et Troyes-Éducation Libraries)
  • On request at the Mission Handicap, our document scanning service can scan books for OCR.


Fetching service

The library offers a fetching service to URCA students and staff. If you can not move easily in the library to gather the books you would like to lend, the library staff can retrieve them and make them available at the information desk. For documents held in libraries outside URCA network, you should contact the Interlibrary loan service.
