The URCA wins approval for a new Horizon Europe project: HEPINIB

Through the UMR CNRS 7369 MEDyC (Extracellular Matrix and Cellular Dynamics), the URCA is committed to a Horizon Europe “staff exchange” project, which has just received approval. The HEPINIB project is named “Heparanase inhibition as a multifunctional targeting approach in cancer”. It is led by Professor Martin Götte of the University of Münster in Germany and has 11 other partners, including the URCA. The MEDyC Unit officer is Dr Stéphane Brézillon.

Planned for a period of 4 years, the aim of HEPINIB is to bring together experts in the field of cancer research related to the action of heparanase (HPSE) with non-university partners, forming a panel of innovative technologies in order to increase understanding of HPSE action in tumour progression.
