D-TechnoSS project press release

The D-TechnoSS research project on the sustainability of eco-design and its acceptability by consumers, coordinated by Laure Lavorata, Associate University Professor of Marketing for URCA, has just obtained funding from the ANR (2021-2025) within the framework of "collaborative research".

This project, led by the Université Technologique de Troyes, aims to offer a new design model based on sustainability after having analysed the obstacles and motivations of manufacturers as well as consumers. The dual interest of this project is to combine a technological approach from the hard sciences with behavioural analysis from the Human and Social Sciences. It will explore the unconscious factors that hinder the adoption of responsible behaviour by consumers while analysing the determining factors that push them to adopt new technologies.

Two theses will be funded under this project: one within URCA (REGARDS laboratory EA 6292) and co-supervised with UTT; the second within UTT and co-supervised with Mines Saint Etienne (3rd partner). We are launching a call for applications for the first thesis.
